NRG Insights with Daniel Sovitch (Life Financial Solutions)

What a pleasure it was having Daniel Sovitch from Life Financial Solutions on our NRG Insights webinar last Friday ?

Daniel has spent over 20 years in the property finance and mortgage lending sector. He started his career at one of the largest specialist lending master brokers and packager in the UK.

Within a short space of time, he became a senior underwriter within the company whilst leading and managing one of their most successful underwriting teams.

His next step was founding Life FS, a boutique financial services practise which has been operating successfully now for 10 years.

The company has recently departmentalised and they decided to restructure the business into specialist arms which created a “one stop shop” for clients seeking:

  • Property Finance
  • Conventional whole market mortgage lending
  • Pensions
  • Investments
  • Protection

Life FS works with property developers, traders, portfolio landlords, development finance and much more.

Going above and beyond for your clients is absolutely crucial, it’s a value that helps across all levels of your business”Daniel Sovitch (Life Financial Solutions)

We covered a range of interesting topics that gave invaluable guidance into the mortgage world, including:

✅ Switching roles within the industry (underwriter to broker)
✅ The importance of educating your clients
✅ Staying true to your personal and company values
✅ Advice on running a business
✅ How to use data effectively
✅ Tips to success for young brokers
✅ Why a business plan is so important

Daniel is a firm believer in using analytical data to drive business and applies this method to various departments within Life FS, for example understanding where his employees specialise in, which then allows Life FS to move certain cases towards these brokers for maximum performance.

Daniels advice for young brokers is to “understand why your doing this and map out your plan – with laser focus”
